Introduction
My New Horizons Music History
This is an oral history presented in video format. The video is a little over 35 minutes long, so it may be best to watch it in multiple sessions.
During this presentation, I have chosen not to read from a text or computer. However, I would like to make an addition and clarification regarding the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM).
While I mention their support multiple times, I want to emphasize that New Horizons Music would not have been possible without NAMM's great support. They approved every financial request I made, including support for bringing individuals from other countries to visit New Horizons programs. This is the primary reason why we have New Horizons programs in other countries. Not only did NAMM provide financial support, but I also had the privilege of enjoying the friendship and good advice of numerous top leaders in the music industry.
Additionally, there is an award-winning video about "Music for Life: The Story of New Horizons" on YouTube, created by WXXI public television in Rochester, NY. This video was produced in 2014.

Music Programs for Veterans
Contributions in memory of Sally Bowers will be used to start new music programs for veterans. The goal is to improve lives and prevent suicides for veterans who have difficulty readjusting to civilian life. The model program at The University of Texas in San Antonio is off to a great start.
